Please arrive from 2 PM to be seated ahead of the ceremony which will start at 2:30 PM
How do I get to and from the venues?
We will be providing transport between St John’s Church and Kew Gardens, where the reception will take place.
Church address: St John’s Church Hyde Park Cres, Tyburnia, London W2 2QD
Reception address: Royal Botanic Gardens Kew, Richmond, London TW9 3AE
We recommend taking public transport from your hotel to St John’s Church, as street parking is residents only or metered, and the car park at Kew Gardens is not available. The nearest tube stations are:
Edgware Road (District, Circle, Hammersmith & City, Bakerloo Lines): 10 min walk
Marble Arch (Central Line): 13 min walk
If you do choose to drive, please note that St John’s is close to the congestion zone where an £18 charge applies (map here).
The nearest Underground tube station to Kew Gardens is the Kew Gardens Station (District Line). The last District Line train to central London from Kew Gardens is at 00:06, which will enable connections to Night Tube lines (Central, Jubilee, Northern, Piccadilly and Victoria) which run until 5 AM. We will make an announcement at the time guests will need to leave to make the 00:06 train. If you need to make a specific connection, you may need to leave earlier.

I am visiting London for the first time, which airport should I fly into?
5
Most of our international guests who are not already well acquainted with London’s airports are coming from the USA. Most flights will fly into London Heathrow. Depending on where you are staying, the Elizabeth line or the Piccadilly line offer convenient and cheap transport into the city. The Heathrow Express is a more expensive option that follows the same route as the Elizabeth line with fewer stops.
Other London airports with good public transport links (in the groom’s order of preference) are Gatwick, City, Luton and Stansted. If you are travelling at the weekend from an airport other than Heathrow, check if rail connections are scheduled for engineering work. The bride has spent many miserable hours on rail replacement bus services and recommends avoiding them if possible.
Do you have recommendations on where to stay?
